Why Bush Should Resign
When Bush took office I thought "Oh well. We'll have four years of fiscal conservatism instead of tax and spend liberalism." But Bush has done far more damage than I ever thought possible. His politics aren't just something I disagree with: they are something I fear. In order to best serve the interests of the American people, Bush should fire Ashcroft, Rumsfeld, and Cheney and then resign from the Presidency.- Bush's reckless policies endanger the United States.
- Bush is not just neglecting the economy but destroying it.
- Bush serves the interests of a wealthy elite instead of the average American.
- Bush is hostile to the environment, ie. the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat and the land where we live.
- Bush is trying to tear down the wall that separates Church and State as guaranteed by the Constitution.
- Bush is attacking our civil liberties under the guise of anti-terrorism.
- Bush has repeatedly lied to the American people.
- The majority of Americans voted for someone else, Al Gore. Bush only "won" because of faulty ballots and an illegal purging of minorities from the voter rolls.
- The job of President of the United States requires an intelligent, thoughtful, peace-loving human being. Bush is only human.
