1/21/08 -Senator Oemig's SJM 8016 passed out of the Senate Government and Operations Committee. Now on to the Rules Committee.
1/16/08 - Senator Eric Oemig has reintroduced a modified version of his 2007 impeachment resolution, SJM 8016. Rep. Maralyn Chase has introduced the same resolution in the WA House as HJM4027. See text of resolution.

2/20/07 - Olympia Citizens' Movement to Impeach Bush/Cheney held a town hall meeting at the Washington Center for Performing arts called "Constitution in Crisis: The Case for Impeachment Town Hall Meeting". About 800 folks attended.

He already has 7 co-sponsors in the Senate: Fairley, , Fraser, Kauffman, Kline, Kohl-Welles, Prentice, Regala, and Spanel. Linda Boyd urges Washington residents to ask their state legislators to support Senator Oemig's impeachment resolution. 12/05/06 - The Impeach Bush Meetup Group in Olympia WA has delivered 2000 signitures to the Olympia City Council. They are waiting for the Council to decide whether to pass the resolution.
10/1/06 - Eastside Fellowship of Reconciliation is petitioning to impeach Bush through state legislatures.
3/4/06 - 34th District Democrats of West Seattle agreed to a resolution very similar to Vermont's.
