Grassroots Actions for State Initiated Impeachment
Citizens can ask their states to pass an impeachment resolution. Here's how:
- Look for contacts in your state.
- Join or build a team. You may find allies in the Progressive Democratic organization in your state.
- Attend a local committee meeting of your political party. Present the modified version of the State form of the Resolution to Impeach as a proposal.
- Encourage the local Committee to present the proposal at statewide meetings.
- Identify sympathetic members in the state legislature and give them copies of the Resolution and a link to this page.
- Lobby the state legislature and build grassroots support for the resolution by holding rallies, town meetings. Write Letters to the Editor.
- Give them a copy of the "Steps for City, County or State Governments".
